The Ontario Butterfly Atlas

[In 2011, the The TEA began updating this publication. See the TEA's Ontario Butterfly Atlas website for our atlas maps.]

In 1991 the TEA published a 167-page Ontario Butterfly Atlas. Each species occurring in Ontario is represented by an entire page in the Atlas. Half of the page is a map of the province showing a dot for each place that species has been recorded in Ontario. Times when the species is in the egga, larva, pupa and adult stages are also shown. Further comments are made on foodplants, hibernation status, habitat and conservation status.
