The Pipevine Swallowtail: Life Cycle and Ecology

This 33-page report covers various aspects of the pipevine swallowtail: record of observations in Ontario; foodplants in Ontario; wing coloration in male and female; toxic nature of the caterpillars and adults; mimics among non-toxic butterfly species; and life history. The life history is covered in considerable detail based on original research by the author, and includes 25 pages with 28 photographs. Relevant scientific literature is also canvassed, and 3 pages of references are cited.
