Although Ontario Nature no longer collects reptile and amphibian data, the work of observing and reporting on these increasingly rare creatures must go on.
We encourage you to continue submitting any future observations through the Herps of Ontario project on iNaturalist. As of November 2023, this project had collected over 26,000 observations.
For species at risk, you may also wish to report your observations directly to the Natural Heritage Information Centre of the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.
